Your loved one completes their own health screening and approves the campaign, and you carry the rest together.

That feeling is real, and it's common. But consider who you'd be asking: people who already care about you. Most people feel honored to be trusted with something that matters. You're not asking them to fix you. You're inviting them to be part of a hopeful step. We'll help you find words that feel honest and dignified, and you'll never be asked to share more than you want to.

“I don't want everyone to know my business.”

You control your privacy. Use your full name, your first name only or your initials. Make your page public, or share it only by private link with the people you choose. Your medical information is never shown on your campaign page. It stays between you and our medical team.

“What if I don't reach my goal?”

Every dollar raised stays in your name as a treatment credit. You can add your own funds or ask about payment options to close the gap, or keep your campaign open longer. If you decide not to go forward, our published policy explains what happens to the funds, and your donors see that policy before they give. “What if I'm not medically eligible?”

That's exactly why we screen first, for free. If ibogaine isn't safe for you right now, you'll find out before you ask anyone for money, and we'll point you toward other options.

“Is ibogaine right for me?”

It isn't right for everyone, and it isn't a cure. That's why we screen carefully before you travel and monitor you continuously during treatment. Our team will talk openly with you about what treatment involves, the benefits and the alternatives.

Frequently asked questions

Is the pre-screen really free?

Yes. The questionnaire and intake call are free. Who covers the EKG and lab work is confirmed during intake.

Who holds the money?

Gifts are paid to Clear Ibogaine and held as a treatment credit in the patient's name. The money is used only for that patient's care.

Are gifts tax-deductible?

No. Clear Ibogaine is a private medical clinic, not a charity. Gifts are personal gifts to help a specific person pay for treatment.

Can I give anonymously?

Yes. Donors can hide their name, their amount, or both from the public page.

Will you text or email my contacts without my permission?

No. You choose who to invite. Most messages are sent by you, from your own phone or email. We never sell or reuse your contacts.

Can I raise money for travel?

Travel can be part of your goal. Which costs can be included is confirmed during intake.

How long does a campaign usually run?

You set the pace. Many people choose a set window, like 30 days. You can extend it.

What if I've already raised some money or have a grant?

Enter it as a starting amount and your goal will reflect only what's left.

What happens if I change my mind?

You can pause or close your campaign at any time. Funds are handled under our published campaign and donor terms.

Is ibogaine legal?

Treatment takes place at our clinic in Rosarito, Mexico, under medical supervision. Talk with our team, and with your own doctor, about your situation.

Can someone else start a campaign for me?

Yes, but you must complete your own screening and approve the campaign before it goes live.
